ProSolv 50 Pre-Mix
ProSolv 50 is a silicified microcrystalline cellulose; the best binder on the market. Higher compressibility than ProSolv 90. Not for use in chewable's or sublingual's because of taste. Mixed with stearic acid and magnesium stearate lubricants.
ProSolv 90 Pre-Mix
One of the best binders on the market, with exceptional flow capability. ProSolv 90 is a silicified microcrystalline cellulose. Has higher flow capability than ProSolv 50. Not for use in chewable's or sublingual's because of taste. Mixed with magnesium stearate lubricant.

SuperTab Lactose Powder
A good all-around inexpensive binder; may be combined with microcrystalline cellulose or sucrose.
Emcocel Microcrystalline Cellulose
A very good binder with the advantage of also being a good dissolution agent after ingestion (excipient) - often combined with lactose to get the binding advantages of both and the excipient advantage of microcrystalline cellulose.
Di-Pac Sucrose Binder
Specially processed sucrose with dextrins. The industry standard for making chewable or sublingual tablets. Use with stearic acid and magnesium stearate if you are making chewable's or sublingual's . If your active ingredient is difficult to tablet and you need more than 20% of it in each tablet, you may need to add 10% to 20% of either lactose or microcrystalline cellulose (do NOT use Pro-Solv for chewable's). For extra sweetness in the tablet, you may wish to include dextrose, stevia, or another sweetener in the tablet as well.
Stearic Acid Powder, NF, VEGETABLE BASED
This industry standard(also known as vegetable stearin), along with magnesium stearate, is used extensively in keeping punches and dies lubricated so tableting proceeds smoothly (stearic acid and magnesium stearate are used together, usually in a 2:1 ratio)
Note - With 1 kg of stearic acid you should be able to produce approximately 250,000 tablets, given the tablets are 400 mg total weight and the percentage of stearic acid used per tablet is 1% (4 mg).
Magnesium Stearate Powder, NF, VEGETABLE BASED
Along with stearic acid, the industry standard for lubricating the punches and dies.
Note - With 1 kg of magnesium stearate powder you should be able to produce approximately 500,000 tablets, given the tablets are 400 mg total weight and the percentage of magnesium stearate used per tablet is 0.5% (2 mg).
